This is what I think, but don't know for sure. In 1870 the Ward's were in Upshur County, Texas. Members of the household were:
Nelson, 36
Emily, 36
Moses, 21
Lizzie, 16
John, 14
Walter, 12
Ella, 10
The 1870 census didn't give relationship between people in the household. Given their age, Nelson and Moses could have been brothers. Does any one know? Does anyone know if this is the right Moses Ward?
